Kylee Nicole Korber Obituary: Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania – Yough High School Student Remembered After Tragic Passing at 16

Kylee Nicole Korber Obituary, RUFFS DALE, Pa. — Kylee Nicole Korber, 16, of Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 21, 2026. She was born on June 4, 2009, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and was remembered by family and loved ones as a vibrant, energetic, and fun-loving young girl.

Kylee was a student at Yough Senior High School, where she was known for her lively personality and joyful spirit. She enjoyed many activities throughout her life, including swimming, riding her bike, and spending time on the trampoline. She also loved babysitting and was known for her creativity, especially through crafting projects, making slime, and collecting rocks.

A passionate animal lover, Kylee cared deeply for her fur babies, Chip and Piggy. She enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting deer and turkey with her stepfather, Chad. She also loved riding her 220 Kawasaki Bayou quad, as well as other vehicles with wheels, including her mini bike and lawnmower.

Kylee enjoyed listening to rap and country music, spending time with friends, relaxing in the hot tub, and creating memories with those close to her. Several of her favorite family memories came from beach vacations to Ocean City, Maryland, and trips to Hocking Hills, Ohio. In her younger years, she played trumpet and danced for several years, leaving behind a number of memories of her childhood.

She was also a hardworking young person who enjoyed working as a cashier at Shop N’ Save. Before that, she worked as a dishwasher at Eat ’N Park. Those who knew Kylee remembered her as an ornery, feisty, sweet, and busy child who brought her own unique personality to the lives of those around her.

Kylee was preceded in passing by her aunt, Kristin Korber, known as “Aunt Tin.” She is survived by her mother, Nicole (Chad Rupert) Hedrick of Smithton, Pennsylvania; her father, Mike Korber of Yukon, Pennsylvania; her brothers, Jacob Korber of West Newton and Kain Korber of Smithton; and her grandparents, Terry (Diane) Korber of Yukon, Sandy “Gee” (Ernie) Heide of Yukon, and Gene (Marlene) Hedrick of Hyndman.

She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, and her beloved companions, Chip and Piggy. Friends were received on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. in Madison, Pennsylvania. A private funeral service was held on Friday, March 27, 2026, with interment remaining private.

Kylee Nicole Korber’s memory will continue to live on through the family, friends, and loved ones who shared in her life. Her kindness, creativity, adventurous spirit, and the moments she created with others will remain cherished by all who knew her. Condolences are extended to Kylee’s loved ones and everyone mourning her passing during this difficult time.
